TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to Cole Dance Company. By registering for classes, camps, workshops, private lessons, or events (“Programs”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Registration and Enrollment

Enrollment in any class, camp, or program is confirmed only upon receipt of required registration forms and payment of applicable fees and deposits.

 

Cole Dance Company reserves the right to:

 

  • Refuse service

  • Cancel, combine, or reschedule classes or camps

  • Substitute instructors when necessary

  • Modify class schedules as needed

2. Payments, Fees, and Deposits

  • All tuition, registration fees, and deposits are non-refundable.

  • Under the sole discretion of Cole Dance Company, payments may be transferable to another class, session, or family member. Transfer approvals are not guaranteed.

  • Payment plans, if offered, must be followed as agreed.

  • Failure to complete payments may result in removal from the program without refund.

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class or session.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

  • No call / no show participants will not receive any rescheduling consideration or credit.

  • Failure to provide 24-hour notice may result in forfeiture of the class or camp session.

  • Missed camp days are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise approved at the discretion of Cole Dance Company.

 

4. Illness Policy

For the health and safety of all participants and staff:

  • If a participant is experiencing fever, vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, contagious illness, or other symptoms of illness, they must stay home.

  • Participants may return once symptom-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication (or as otherwise recommended by a medical professional).

  • Missed classes due to illness remain subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policy above.

  • Cole Dance Company reserves the right to send a participant home if they appear ill during a program.

5. Participant Conduct and Behavior Expectations

Cole Dance Company is committed to providing a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment.

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow dancers with respect.

  • Follow instructor directions promptly and safely.

  • Refrain from disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Respect studio property and equipment.

  • Wear appropriate dance attire and footwear as required.

  • Bullying, harassment, unsafe conduct, or repeated disruption may result in dismissal from the class or camp without refund.

6. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Participation in dance classes and camps involves physical activity and inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Slips, falls, and collisions

  • Muscle strains or sprains

  • Physical injury

  • Exposure to illness

​

By enrolling in any Program, participants (or their parent/guardian) acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Cole Dance Company, its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in any program, including claims resulting from negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

 

Participants affirm they are physically able to participate in dance activities and will inform the studio of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations.

7. Medical Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, Cole Dance Company staff may seek appropriate medical treatment for the participant. The parent/guardian assumes responsibility for all medical expenses incurred.

 

8. Personal Property

Cole Dance Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to classes or camps.

 

9. Media Release

Cole Dance Company may photograph or record classes and events for promotional purposes. By enrolling, you grant permission for use of images or video unless written notice is provided to opt out.

10. Agreement

By registering for any class, camp, or program with Cole Dance Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
